FuelLog tracks the fuel consumption of your vehicle. Statistics and export to CSV-file are included.
Symbian OS, the leading mobile operating system, is available with different user interfaces. Versions of FuelLog are available for devices with Series 80, UIQ and Series 60 user interface. All FuelLog versions use the same data file format, so that it's no problem when you switch to a Symbian smartphone with another user interface. The functionality of the Series 60 version is somewhat restricted due to the smaller screen and some constraints of the programming language.

FuelLog for Series 80
FuelLog for Series 80 calculates distance, fuel consumption and fuel price after input of odometer, fuel and expense. All data is stored with the date and an optional note and can be exported to a CSV-file in Unicode or ASCII format.
The integrated statistics calculate totals for distance, fuel and expense and average, maximum and minimum for consumption, distance per tank, cost per distance and fuel price.
The user can set metric (km, liters) and imperial (miles, gallons) units, the mode of consumption calculation (distance per fuel (e.g. MPG) or fuel per distance (e.g. l/100km)) and the currency symbol.
To execute FuelLog you need to install the OPL Runtime distributed with FuelLog.
Consumption calculations are only correct when the tank is filled completly.
Restrictions of the unregistered version: limited statistics, consumption is calculated only for 10 fill-up's, export of 5 datasets.

Tips
The content of export files created with the export settings set to 'Text qualifier'-'None' and 'Label seperator'-'Tab' can be pasted to the Sheet application of the Communicator for graphing and further 'on device' anaylsis.

On some Motorola UIQ devices (e.g. A925/A1000) problems when entering data with the virtual keyboard might occur. Please check this before registering FuelLog for UIQ.
Tips
Pressing the Jog-Dial in opens the 'New Fill Up' dialog.
Use a file manager like the one integrated in SMan to send the export file to your PC or another device.
FuelLog for Series 60 1st und 2nd Edition calculates distance, fuel consumption (miles per gallon, MPG) and fuel price after input of mileage, fuel and cost. All data is stored with the actual date, can be browsed and can be exported to a CSV-file.
The integrated statistics calculate total fuel, total cost, total distance, average and maximum miles per tank, average miles per galon and average fuel price.

FuelLog can be started from the Application pane. No more need to use a file manager to run FuelLog.
Signal strength, GPRS-indicator, new-message symbol,... are shown in the title bar.

The currency symbol can be edited by changing the content of the file 'X:\System\Apps\FuelLog\currency_symbol.txt'. (Symbian OS uses Unicode.)

Tips
Use #-key as decimal delimiter for input of fuel and cost values.
The C-key works as backspace in input mode and deletes single datasets in browse mode.
Browse stored datasets with right and left navigation keys.
Use a file manager like the excellent free FExplorer to send the export file to your PC or another device.
